Dr. Thomas A. Thacker, DO, MS
Dr. Thacker is originally from Albany, KY, more precisely the Huntersville community of Clinton County, and now resides in Monroe, TN in Pickett County with his wife Jennifer and their children Marissa and Ben. He graduated from Clinton County High School (Albany, KY). He also earned an Associate degree in health science from Lindsey Wilson College (Columbia, KY), a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Western Kentucky University (Bowling Green, KY), a Master of Science degree from the University of Kentucky (Lexington) and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a family medicine residency at the University of Tennessee-Nashville (Ascension Saint Thomas health system). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Thacker has been a practicing medical professional since 2008. He practiced as a physician assistant in Glasgow and Munfordville, KY prior to medical school. After completing his family medicine residency, he chose to serve the Dale Hollow Lake area and surrounding communities. He understands that your health and wellness concerns extend beyond routine medical care. He is a highly trained, board-certified family medicine physician and provides an array of comprehensive services and procedures within his field.

Jennifer Thacker, RN, BSN
Wellness coordinator, Jennifer Thacker, has been a practicing nurse for over 20 years and has been certified in critical care. She has an extensive background in surgery, emergency medicine, cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and endocrine disease. Jennifer shifted her focus from a pharmacologically driven approach to educating about disease prevention and increasing wellness. Her mission is to educate and inspire others to live healthy lifestyles and offer services to help others look and feel their best.

FirstChoice is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants able to do many tests, x-rays, procedures, and such on site.
